Not surprising given how the team finished. What a fall from where they were in early January...Well, at least this takes one more excuse away from the BOR for keeping Willard...

We actually beat more teams in the NCAA field than the NIT. Odd...Originally posted by HALL85:
Two teams we beat though are in NIT (GW & ISU).
And we beat both of the teams in the Big East Championship Game.Originally posted by SHUSource:

Oh, what the hell; I have nothing to do today!Originally posted by lloyde dobler:
I'm too lazy to look it up...whats the list of teams who beat the four No. 1 seeds?
When you look back, we got lucky to catch Nova on the right day. Refs calling a million fouls helped us. Rutgers beat Wisconsin for god sakes. Even the best teams throw in some clunkers over the course of a long season.Originally posted by SHUSource:

Kentucky: None
Wisconsin: Ruptures (67-62), Maryland (59-53), Duke (80-70)
Villanova: Seton Hall (66-61 OT), Georgetown (78-58)
Duke: NC State (87-75), Miami (90-74), Notre Dame (77-73), Notre Dame (74-64, ACC Tourney)
I was at that game and it was my first game at the Prudential Center in a few years. I went into it with low expectations because we had been on a slide (lost four of six prior to it), but after the game, I was very fired up. And after that game, only one game was won.Originally posted by HALL28:

The win I can't get over is the Xavier game. We looked really good that day. Whitehead was a terror. It wasn't lucky. We played really well that day and beat a very good team that had also played a good game. And then it just all disintegrated on an unbelievable level.
