Not satisfied with second team, but if yall only knew the half of the work that was put in this summer and off season. From 8 am workouts to 2 a days. Far from where I want to be, but it's def refreshing to get rewarded for a decent season. #TMC

Unless he's improving his skills for a school in another conference, it sounds like Sterling is staying.

We can nitpick the lineup, sure, but the fact remains if Whitehead and Gibbs can get on the same page and play to the best of their ability, combined with just the normal freshman-to-sophomore improvement from Delgado, this can be a top 25 team. Of course we all have doubts, but that amazing potential is still there.

Right. Same prophecy every year. We're not an NCAA team and we're more than lacking in the coaching department.

Sad thing is our players show immeasurably more passion than their coach....

He had a first team caliber season and should have been on there. No doubt the Arci incident cost him a spot IMO. Maybe the coaches looked at it as him missing more than 10% of the BE season as somewhat of a disqualifier for 1st team, otherwise it really doesn't make much sense.

If Gibbs returns (I don't see this tweet as any affirmation of that btw) I agree we have a lot of talent. We don't have any proven big men other than AD but maybe someone steps up.

Also still skeptical of him returning. If he goes, I assume he'd be pursuing a post-grad 5th year transfer. I would think he needs to graduate before that process can begin. It's just hard not to see a lot of very attractive offers coming his way. I'd feel better if the dynamic between he and Whitehead hadn't turned into a complete disaster in every way.

Duke has been very good to Jersey players and transfers. This was actually the first championship without a NJ pg or player on the roster.

He was speaking from an individual standpoint. Thus the award.
