Biden didnt make this deal...he was left to deal with prior administration decision. Time to leave a country. Usa fails at this venture. What would narrative be right now if trump was president, he would reverse course?

You're a broken record. Biden could have easily 1) Renegotiated the deal and 2) Put a better exit plan in place to extract everyone without the chaos and bloodshed.
I wanted the US to pull out but with an actual plan. The Buck stops with Biden as commander in chief. He had plenty of time to figure out an orderly exit.

If Trump was President we would leave when we were ready. No way he pulls the military before the civilians. No one could be that stupid, well I guess somebody could. Hard to believe the leaders of the USA could be this dumb.

The withdrawal is a disaster.
Maybe the same thing happens if Trump were in office, but that doesn't matter. Biden is the President and it was his decision to leave. He owns it.
He said he owns it. The military has sent multiple signals that it did not agree with what Biden wanted to do here. And here we are. Speak to a soldier and he/she wants to be the last person on the ground. You do not give up two airbases, equipment including rockets, planes and helicopters and remove most of your military when you have so many lives left there. You just don't do that. Biden and crew have lots of US and Afghan blood on their hands now. Massive debacle and it will get worse unfortunately. I feel terrible for the military and people on the ground there trying to deal with all of this. They are the pawns of 20 years of bad decisions and one awfully stupid exit plan.
Everything that happens good it is to Biden’s credit.Everything bad like the Afghan withdrawal disaster is Trump’s fault.We get the childlike view of some on this board ,but recent polls suggest public is not buying it particularly independents.He changed all of Trump’s policies ,but now thr narrative is he could not change this one ,even though he changed the date but I am sure some on this board will excuse that change.This thing is really going bad so instead of manning up Joe hides avoids questions and states it could not be avoided.
I find it hard to believe that this wouldn't be the case if we had left earlier, or if we waited until 2025 or 2030. Both presidents (Trump and Biden) made the correct call. The best time to leave Afghanistan was 15 years ago, but we had to get out eventually. This was always going to happen no matter who the president was. I am thankful this president had the guts and fortitude to move forward with the withdrawal.

My guess is he lacks the courage to opt for number 2.

This is all in your head. Name one poster giving Biden praise in this situation and blaming Trump. You’re like my 6-year-old, making stuff up to get angry about.
Just stop. Biden has reversed course on many things Trump did. He could have done so here. And regardless he botched this with epic proportions. I didn’t vote for Trump and so don’t bother coming back at me with that, but people like you who can’t admit that water is wet is why this political crap is so polarizing now. And if this was Trump at the helm still, everyone who falls in your camp would be calling this Saigon II and excoriating him.
Have no problem with Biden pulling out. We’ve waged war enough in these countries. To me, our policy needs to be to get the bad guys that mess with us as swiftly and harshly as possible, but avoid long term commitments. If they harbor terrorists that do something to us, bomb the crap out of them and strike where you need, but no occupation.
But I think Biden could have executed a withdrawal of our people and our Afghan friends without the madness and death we are seeing now.
I support Biden on this issue. I think he's a good man who has been pulled to the left by radicals in his party.

I’ve always thought he was a centrist and a relatively good guy for a politician (most all are liars to varying degrees). He’s not a centrist anymore, but I think the deal brokered was that we will get you elected and you will do whatever we demand. And his mental faculties are clearly declining. If Trump acted how Biden often does the mainstream media would be all over that and covering it constantly.

Agreed. He was particularly unhinged and insane on Twitter too. I loathed the Twitter stuff. And yes it was covered 24/7 from the start because he embarrassed them by winning in 2016 and then attacked them from day 1.
Biden’s issues are different though. Without being mean, his mental decline is scary. It reminds you, unfortunately, of an elderly family member who is half-gone. He was always famous for his “gaffes”, but this is way different. Remember the fun media members had with Bush II and some of his comments? Can you imagine the media with W acting like Biden does where he appears just lost and not knowing what planet he’s on?

How about trump freeing 5,000 Taliban solders and there leader when he negotiated with them and also wanted to negotiate with them at Camp David. 20 yrs. there is a lot of blame to go around .

Blame goes all around for why weve been there 20 years, but Biden has full ownership of this withdrawal mess. Quit mentioning Trump like he accomplished anything in Afghanistan. If negotiating with cavemen and releasing these POS is "a good deal", then you're a fool. Of course he claims "they're great negotiators". What Trump did, didnt or would've done is not relevant, hes not president, our current president botched this withdrawal once American lives were lost. He gets an F for execution and someone better be held accountable.
I find if funny that some people can’t agree that it was both right to pull out AND it was done terribly.
