Cuomo administration underreported nursing home Covid deaths by up to 50%, NY attorney general says
New York underreported Covid deaths in nursing homes by as much as 50%, according to a new report from New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Will she be bringing criminal charges against him?
Pretty brutal report. James is certainly making a name for herself. Will be interesting to see where this one goes.
But I thought that Cuomo (and his parrot, Murphy) was just doing what other states were doing, with the evidence available at the time?
Cuomo will blame Trump for this I am certain. He is so similar to Trump it's not even funny. Another narcissist who loves to listen to himself talk and believes everything he says if he says it enough times.
As expected, Cuomo is blaming Trump for his admins own Nursing Home policy.

Cuomo blames nursing home scandal on 'political attack' by Trump admin
In his first public comments since a scathing attorney general report finding New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration undercounted nursing home deaths, the governor on Friday argued criticisms of him were a "political attack" that began with the Trump administration.www.foxnews.com
As someone who grew up in NY, right on the border of NJ, and now lives in NJ on the border of NY, I’ve always taken pride in being where I’m from and could never fathom living anywhere else. That will likely still never happen because of my roots, at least not for a long time, but the last 10+ months has made me think more and more about moving down in the Southeast somewhere. And I used to mock that concept. I have no faith in how NY and NJ are going to be governed going forward and expect more of the same BS.
Its getting too late already. I know Charleston has exploded and many areas of FL too. The same inventory problems happening here (there is none) are happening in all those states you mentioned. Still less to live there than here but getting more expensive everyday.Start looking now, real estate is exploding in that area (NC, SC, GA, FL).
All of my roots are here as well, but I've been thinking about doing the same. I think it'll eventually happen.
