NYC to require proof of vaccination for Indoor Dining/Gyms

At a small restaurant with a hostess, might be somewhat straight forward, but wouldn’t call it easy to manage.

How is it going to work at high volume fast food restaurant with multiple entrances and kiosk ordering?

Honestly, many places like that just won’t care.
Will probably ask to see the app on a phone or whatever and then move on of the see it or not. It’s a dumb idea and I hope it will be short lived. NY doesn’t need it.

The more politicians talk, the dumber they sound. And they actually think people heed what they say…

They don’t. HIPAA laws provide protection regarding your personal information and regulate how that information can be shared. No law against a business (or school) asking for your information.
Aren’t there laws that prohibit an employer from asking an employee vaccination status? Maybe that’s not under HIPPA. So the customer won’t be able to enter the restaurant but the cook and waitress can be unvaccinated

No, they are allowed to ask. Could be a problem if you say no and they start asking why.
