NYPD isnt able to do anything?

But the article doesn’t state is that NYPD retirements increased my 500% last year and they actually had to start preventing retirements and ask for extended dates. And given the anti-police climate today, it’s human nature; cops are not going to respond or if they do, they will slowly. Why would you risk your career trying to police this kind of a situation? It’s a no-win.

NYC is in a death spiral. Quality of life and crime is going to return to the days of Abe Beame and David Dinkens. Actually think it might be worse as wealth is exiting the city due to taxes and remote working opportunities
