Since Sam and Trevonn receive free tuition as children of a school employee they are considered 'counters'.
Since the NCAA only allows 15 scholarships for women and 13 for men as 'counter' players they cannot appear in a game
So both are red shirting and will have 4 years to play 4. Each can practice and travel but not play in a game this year.
Their status will be reevaluated next season depending on the scholarship situation.
