Without any legitimate outside shooter other than Whitehead, the offense is obviously challenged. But that doesn't mean you need to resort to aimless dribbling on the wing or Whitehead going one on four in the closing play of the first half. The offense looks so disjointed once again.

Can't we run some offense in the paint for Ish? Desi? A foul line jump shot? Very little movement without the ball and desperation plays by Whitehead. Gibbs was in the same role last year, which is why he hit so many prayer shots. Hoping we can we find a way to run some efficient offense in the second half.

I'm happy with the offense tonight. We need to tighten up on D

our defense is killing us. Clearly Willard has them in some sort of hybrid man that has zone principles. Switching everything and doubling up top. Players having confusion on when to switch and to who. Willard again being too clever for his own players. Just teach them tough fundamental man defenses.

Scrambling around with no purpose. Out of position on defense a lot.

This. I have said is for years now with Willard. He might have the greatest scheme ever but he can't translate it to the players to execute.

Offense depends on getting the ball inside .Definitely need Delgado because of his rebounding ,but all of his scoring is 2 feet from the basket .

Thought SH would have an edge on controlling the boards and it looked like it early in the first ,.

Doesn' t look like that much production off the bench .

Defense is awful , just plain awful . Carrington's ,Gordon ,Rodriquez ,Sanogo? Very disappointing .

I don't think the offense looks that bad. We were working the ball pretty well tonight. We play young though.

Truth be told, the offense as well as the defense was horrible. The team looked like they were 5 guys playing together for the first time in a pick up game.

Agree with Connel, if there is a plan it's either not working or it's not being followed.

For a 43 year alum, it's very difficult to accept where this program is in 2015.

Continue to hope that things will change. Go Hall

The lack of outside shooting dooms us on offense. Other teams just stack the lane. We aimlessly drive into traffic and get stripped, time and again.

Not a Thanksgiving turkey has been carved yet, but it's clear as can be this season is a complete waste of time.

Pat Lyons nailed the women's basketball search. We'll see what he can do for our marquee sport. Just three and a half more months and we'll find out.

I agree with all of this.

Box out ,whose responsibility was that on the LB state missed foul shot with 8 seconds left ? Carrington or Gordon ? We do not do the little things to win games .

We do not have shooters on this team . Carrington and Rodriquez hit a 3- pointer once in a while ,but no consistency .Gordon .I did not see final stats but Gordon must have been somewhere around 1-8 and he missed 2 foul shots down the stretch .

And did Singh or Soffer get in the game ? Didn't notice .Supposed to be good outside shooters ? Just speculating . Behind by 3 with 6 seconds left . Would you have put Singh or Soffer in the game even if they hadn't seen action ?

Switching stations and watching other games . teams seem to have a more fluid offenses, but in defense of Willard ,we really don't have great shooters.

Us not having great shooters is an indictment of Willard. He's the one who is supposed to bring those guys in!!

What's even more amazing is that after Gordon failed to box out to the shooter the first time, he didn't even attempt to box him out on the second attempt of the following two free throws!!

Poor fundamentals. Usually coaches always scream, " who has the shooter?" Gibbs and Jaren were good shooters and pretty clutch at the foul line. Let's hope Myles will help and maybe Eron Gordon joins. Can't have enough good guards who can shoot from outside. Now we need and system of offense and defense that is understood and executed.

Um, both are hurt, does that change your speculation?
