Frustrating to watch the lack of offensive plays and no movement without the ball. Why can Xavier score so easily? Do they screen more? Make the extra pass? Move without the ball? We get very few easy baskets unless it's on the break.

No spacing. But we don't have many good outside shooters so don't play that way and instead work the weave.

However, Powell is coming but he'll make freshman mistakes , Singh has potential if he plays better defense. Dalton Soffer may improve if he gets more playing time but he'll be inexperienced.

We're two years away from dropping the weave. Patience. The team is young.

Agree - having more steady outside threats is key. Could use a scoring power forward too. Someone to take the pressure off Delgado.Ish is a nice defender, but he is giving the team virtually no offense. Up to the coaches to design some better plays to get easier shots inside. No movement without the ball at all.

Delgado seldom misses that soft hook inside. Her has a great touch. The operativer word is seldom. They seldom get the ball in to him for him to take that shot. They have no set plays for him so they don't take advantage of his offensive prowess so he can keep opposing centers honest. Frank

It's not "offensive stagnation". It's that the SH offense is offensive. Weave, rush shots and, of course, continue to (not) make free throws.

At least they hustle on the boards and lead the BE in that category. Of course, when you can't shoot, you better rebound if you don't want to get blown out every game.

We needed I.W. to play up to his hype. He shows it now and then, but has to do it on a consistent basis...especially offensively.
