Very tough team who takes care of the ball. We must limit turnovers to have any chance. I can deal with missed shots but turnovers kill us.

We didn't play our best game and beat Prov by 20. That's crazy.

Some things do have to improve but have to love the effort.

Xavier is in a classic letdown spot after beating the #1 team in land. Will be interesting to see what Vegas makes the line. Thinking X -3.

Lovin' it. Defense, blocks, dunks, and Whitehead as the straw that stirs the drink.

I was worried earlier today as the Word-with-Friends word of the day was "Dun". Luckily, Dunn was non-factor.

Let's catch Xavier resting on their laurels.

We need to be mentally sharp to beat Xavier. No more throwing the ball away with stupid cross-court passes. We need to be sharp on Sunday.

The ball needs to move vs X. Their a tough team to beat 1 on 1 and they really control the paint. They're a very good team, but right now so are we.

Personally, I've felt they're the best team in the league for a while now. They have it all; size, depth, length, athleticism, heady guard play, and a certain defense (1-3-1) that gives teams fits because the roster attributes fit it well.

A good litmus test for us on Sunday.

Xavier is winning many games on its depth, very similar to our 89 team, in that they can field almost two starting teams. IMO, they are the class of the BE this year. Watching them often I note their depth keeps them close and in the last 5 minutes of their games they pull away. They may be in a let down mode and playing away gives us a decent chance. A good showing by us in this game puts us firmly inside 10 seeding IMO.
Regarding seeding, I do not want to see us in the 9/8 slot. I think this team can get to the 16 but not from the 8/9 slot.

Xavier biggest strength is its depth , especially up front and they simply wear teams down. Their coach does an excellent job of utilizing that depth to not only wear other teams down but to keep his players fresh and playing with energy all game.

A couple of things: 1\ we beat 'em last yr; and 2/ GTown beat 'em at their place. Look, I know, they're VERY good, but they're NOT invincible. Let's hope our guys have a special surprise for them on Sunday.
In front of a turnaway, vociferous crowd, of course
