Get a clue and then buy a dictionary while you're at it.Dan, you were right! Gtown is not the 5th best team in conference. 2nd or 3rd. However, IMO, X is really overrated. No way are they a final four contender. Top 25 good? Yes. Final Four bound. No way
As good as Georgetown looked last night they have looked equally as bad in other games. As to Xavier being a final four contender... I think there are a lot of teams capable of reaching the final four. There really aren't any teams distancing themselves from the others like last season. Right now there are 16-20 teams who can realistically say they have a shot in march. I think Xavier can say that as of now
Their NCAA performances have a left a lot to be desired over the past few years and that's the bigger issue with them and their reputation.
If you look at the overall resume of work over his 11+ seasons, JT3 has put together an impressive run there including a FInal Four, a BET championship, 3 Big East Regular Season championships, But over his past 7 full seasons they've made 5 NCAA's and been out the first weekend in all of them.
He is almost following his Dad's path, who was great from 81-89, had a good year or two with Iverson, but at the end it got bad.
GT has the potential to do well but unless they finish top 3 in conference, the OOC work will come back to haunt them in make the tourney. Also, two of the 5 wins were vs DePaul.
The more I see Xavier, the more I think there is no reason why we shouldn't split with them this year. Same with GTown. We'll see.
That's a great ratio. And in general, a team's A/TO ratio is a huge tell. A positive ratio isn't a guarantee of a win, but it's close. 22 to 10 is awesome.Gtwn 22 assists to 10 TOs will win most games
