OT: Jay Wright on CBS

Greg Gumbel had Jay Wright and his Villanova team live in studio during today's network show. During a particular line of questioning Gumbel was asking how Wright keeps his team focused and so forth.

Wright specifically pointed to his Seniors and his team captains. Calling them by name and reinforcing that they are responsible for leading the team.

Guy gets complete buy-in. Our coach could learn a thing or two from this. Leadership 101.

Our coach could learn a whole lot. However, he will not. Jay Wright is a sophisticated and articulate head coach. Willard is borderline illiterate.

I've been trying to look at ways willard can learn things. Whether it's his past experience, mistakes, examples from others, pitino, Ralph .... I'm resigned to the fact that he's either unwilling or incapable of this.

Maybe Kevin can grow a beard. After PJ grew his he was pretty much invincible in the college game. A beard would bring out his magnetic personality. Plus, it could lead to a new nickname for Willard (see link)
