It's undeniable that he is the best ever at QB. But he acted like a real a*hole this weekend. He was shown giving his offensive line a ton of s**t during their loss to Pittsburgh. Low-life move, imho. And now we learn he was away from the team for the weekend up until yesterday morning so he could attend Robert Kraft's wedding. Again,no denying his legendary career on the field but he strikes me as a true egotistical jerk.

I think Marino, Manning and Elway might make an argument as to whether he was the best QB. Winningest QB yes in Super Bowl era but best maybe not.

I don’t know how you argue against Brady being the GOAT. It’s one thing being a “system guy” like Montana, but look at Brady’s regular season stats AND add in the Super Bowl wins and it’s hard to discredit TB. Btw, you mentioned Marino, what do you think Marino would give for ONE of those Super Bowl rings??

Yikes if actually being in the arena and giving your teammates s*** for not producing is a low life move, what do you call it when people jump on a message board and give players they don't go to battle with s*** or rip apart a coach?

Afc is starting to deviate from the usual suspects. i like the jets winning! giants not so much. NFC east may get 3 teams in the playoffs

Apples and oranges comparison. And I'll just reiterate that Brady--as great a player as he is--is an egotistical jerk.

I can’t make that call from my couch. Whether he’s an ego maniac or an intense winner seems to be a fine line. I’m also sure that trait is determined when he’s not in the arena. I think we've all met our share of good people playing sports and some of those good people are intense maniacs playing pickup ball, street football, or stickball.

you’re right it’s apples and oranges but doing what Brady did is a million times classier than what I’ve read on the game threads about our players. I stopped reading those threads. Just because this is a medium to talk SHU hoops and yes there are negative times, I’ve read a million times worse than you’re way bleepin better than this, wake the bleep up. I also believe if we had a guy with that intensity and that passion who gets in players faces for not performing their best, he’d be a SHU fan favorite.

You mean Sha?
Exactly what I mean. I was going to add we have a coach who has a thread he demands 110%, but Brady can't demand 110% from his line?

Dan maybe you can speak better of this than I can, but I doubt Sha is calm in his demeanor when he's demanding 110%. I'll bet he's every bit as intense as Brady. If that rubs people the wrong way so be it. But I love it.

I agree with you on the game threads. I stopped reading them.

Sha is not for everyone. You have to listen to the words, not the tone.

That's why I think the most important player on the team is KC Ndefo. He's Sha in a 6-6 body and since he played for him at St Peter's he knows what to expect and how to pass that along to the rest of the roster.
