I don't know what other people think but everytime we go zone I cringe. Our zone always leaves a wide open 3. Just about everytime. He does incorporate a zone press which is ok.
We struggled against Xavier's 1 3 1 zone as well as st johns 1 3 1 in the first half. That zone was making me frustrated just watching it. It was hard to find holes in it and made us throw up some bad or contested shots. I'd like to see us switch up our defense as our zone is not intimidating or smothering at all.
