1. Feels good to get a W as ugly as it was. We picked up the defense in the 2nd half, but Penn St sure helped us alot down the stretch.
2. I know I am going to get killed for this, but we won that game inspite of our coach. What an awful job by him. Ike had no idea what to do on defense and we kept slotting him in during the second half, the timeout he took after Sandro tied is at 73 then led to a 9-1 run by PSU, having a player inbound the ball in a late game situation when he just missed 4 fts (i know molson made them).
3. Late in the game Shavar started with the dribble penetration and guess what, it worked. Basketball is not a difficult game, dribble penetrate, inside out passing, strong defense.
4. Good bounce back game by Sandro. This is what we will need every game.
5. The trio of Cale, Rhoden and Molson had their best half of the season in the 2nd half. They are all streaky players, just will need to find the right combo throughout the season.
6. Our depth is a serious issue. Right now we play 7 players and Ike probably shouldnt be playing at this level. Long looks like a long time project (not sure how you pass on Posh for him) and Stevens cant see the court.
