for all indoor businesses where food or drink is involved. including sixers, flyers, nova games.

were 2 yrs into this. whats happening now to cause this? a new variant that has no reported increase in hospitalizations?

politicians are overplaying their hand. tell me something about these vaccines mandates, do they look at the date when you were vaccinated? some people were vaccinated in 2020! does that still work? does it apply? is there an opinion on efficacy/timeframe?

there isnt. it just proves its a dog and pony show. and im vaccinated!

That's why you'll see certain Democrats begin to pivot away from covid. Virus hysteria is not how they're going to win the midterms in November. America wants to move on.

It's why you saw the NY Times come out with that editorial. It's why the governor of Colorado said the emergency is over. It's why Phil Murphy said today he won't rule out a mask mandate but for now he is not going to do what New York did. Everything about this virus has been political from the start. It was a winning issue for Democrats in 2020 because it painted Trump as cold, heartless, negligent and incompetent. Plus liberals are more likely to favor regulation, government intervention and are more easily scared than conservative freedom loving Republicans.

2021 was a warning sign for Dems and they will move away from covid in the coming months because they have an election to win or at least cut what will almost assuredly be big losses.

which is why i find it odd for philly and ny to do this this late in the game. PA is a swing state. many swing counties outside philly. where do u think people are moving to?

dems always couldnt get out of their own way tho.

Philadelphia and New York are overwhelmingly filled with liberal Democrats, most of them far left.

Yeah, it is an overreaction to Omnicron which we are still learning about. No need for mandates anymore.

Hospitalizations have increased in Gauteng province where Omnicron started, but as a percentage of cases still seems ok.

Mandates at the Rock did not stop me from getting covid at the Texas game. I expect to see more empty seats in the season ticket holder section as we move into the season. I’m glad I was vaccinated plus second time for me. Personal decision to go to the games, so I have to accept the consequences of being in an arena with screaming fans.

Did you have the booster yet? Everyone I know who had the booster is testing negative even if exposed to Covid.

I know it's anecdotal, but my son-in-law got the booster and is symptomatic and tested positive (PCR) and my wife just got the booster two weeks ago and she is waiting for her PCR but expect her to be positive as well (she is slightly symptomatic).

A friend of the family broke out with hives a week after getting the booster. He's seen specialist in NY who was told to load up on antihistimines. I'm hearing good and bad about the booster.

Both of my daughters got hives

I got mine. I felt like crap the day after but no issues after that.
Was honestly expecting to test positive getting back from Disney being in crowds of people that many days but we tested negative.

I was scheduled to get the booster this week. My luck decide to go and then get the virus prior too. Of course now that I tested positive I have to wait. Virus is very complex, this time I lost my sense of smell while the fevers never went over 102. Since I had a really bad case the first time around plus the vaccines, this time was milder. 2 really bad nights but all things considered feeling better 5 days into it. Going to talk to my doctor about the booster when I fully recover. I believe i have natural immunity for next 6 months but if he recommends it anyway I plan on doing it. I plan on going to the big East games.

FYI- I'm hearing a major vaccine mandate announcement is expected to occur in NJ next week. Seem like a vaccine mandate in order to enter restaurants/public places. Not sure if the rock will be impacted by this.
