I don't think I read any posts about Sunday's SHU-RU game at TD in Bridgewater. The Pirates salvaged the third game in the series in a blowout win.

It was was a very nice venue to watch a baseball game. Admission was only $5 and you could sit anywhere in the 6,100 ballpark.

There were about 800 fans, pretty evenly divided between the Blue and the red. I thought there would be a bigger crowd with the nice weather and cheap tickets. I noticed that the Somerset Patriots' pocket schedule made no mention of the game. Perhaps next season more fans will know if the main tenant helps out with the PR.

I do hope they do it again next season. But please provide a basic program with rosters so fans can follow who is on the field.

I was there with my friend (and he may not like being called that but too bad) TheBluePirate and his lovely wife.

Seton Hall did a great job that game hitting 'em where they ain't!!

Was there, too. Amazed how bad Rutgers was, and equally amazed that SHU lost the first two games of the series to that team. Some really horrendous errors that led to a lot of runs.
