SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Winners of eight of its last 10, the Seton Hall baseball team hits the road this weekend for another tough BIG EAST series at Xavier. The four-game series is scheduled from May 7-9.
The Pirates (19-15, 12-3 BIG EAST) are currently second in the BIG EAST and the Musketeers (17-19, 8-6 BIG EAST) sit in fourth place. Seton Hall's 12 conference wins are the most in the BIG EAST.

- The Pirates lead the all-time series with Xavier, 11-8, and took two out of three their last trip to Cincinnati back in May 2019.
- Senior Tyler Burnham (East Brunswick, N.J.) made history on May 2 by throwing Seton Hall's fifth no-hitter since 1990 to go along with a career-high 14 strikeouts in a 2-0 win over Georgetown.
- Burnham was named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week and NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week.
- Graduate student Matt Toke (Three Bridges, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after hitting .467 (7-for-15) with two doubles, five RBI and three runs scored while playing stellar defense at first base against the Hoyas.
- Toke was a unanimous selection on the Preseason All-BIG EAST squad.
- Senior Jerry Huntzinger (Staten Island, N.Y.) leads the BIG EAST and ranks fourth in the country with 24 stolen bases.
