Galloway, N.J. - Junior Honey Strosnider (Fairfield, Pa.) ran a 22:21.96 to cross the finish line first and lead the Seton Hall women's cross country team to winning the 2024 Osprey Open at Stockton University Saturday morning.

Strosnider is enjoying a great start to the 2024 season, placing as the top Pirate finisher in all three races. This was her first individual title.

Seton Hall had five top-10 finishers to cruise to winning the team championship. The Pirates had 24 points as a team, and second-place TCNJ had 88 points.

Right behind Strosnider at the finish line was senior Julia Smith (Pittsgrove, N.J.), who was second with a time of 22:36.80. Coming in fourth was sophomore Paige Quickley (Sacramento, Calif.), who posted a time of 22:50.77.

Also in the top-10 were freshmen Laura Castagna (Westlake Village, Calif.), who was eighth with a time of 23:33.04, and Destiny Lopez (Crownpoint, Ind.), who was ninth with a time of 23:37.96.

The Pirates are headed south next weekend to compete in the Embry-Riddle Cross Country Classic in Daytona Beach, Fla.
