This is my understanding—
Exhibit 10 is a non guaranteed contract at the NBA minimum salary (800k+).
An Exhibit 10 contract is good for one year and cannot be repeated.
These contracts can pay a bonus up to $50,000. Carino wrote that MP had the $50k max bonus in his deal.
If MP is waived he has a roster spot on the Knicks G-league team. The G-league salary is $35,000.
The G-league salary is in addition to the E10 bonus.
So, if Carino is correct in that MP received the max 50k bonus, he will earn a minimum of $85,000 this season if he doesn’t make the Knicks roster.
The total of $85k is the same as a 2-way contract first year salary. Of course the two way guy can be called up at any time.
If anyone has any updates to the above please provide the details.
