still not convinced Xavier isn't the league's best team. Gun to your head, who goes farther in the dance, X or Nova? Easy answer for me.
Xavier has a little of everything. Tough team to beat. Back to back wins against Nova and PC were in impressive fashion.
They are really good. Especially if the guard play from the likes of Davis, Sumner, and Abel matches the forwards/bigs. This Macura is a classic glue guy as well.
I doubt there's another team in the county that's this deep up front.
Of course the NCAA format is different than over a regular season or whatever, but my pick would be X because of this depth and that 1-3-1 zone with their size and length is going to give team's fits in tournament play.
They didn't play Nova recently and certainly haven't beaten them. You're confusing Nova with us (lol).
