1. We knew that we were strong favorites for Coleman and expected an announcement shortly. But yesterday took everyone by surprise happening when it did. That's not always unusual. Players have been told the choice is theirs and in the spur of the moment they make an announcement.
2. The player I can't name, a swing, was given to me last week. At that point I had no idea we were recruiting him. Yesterday I got a call from someone very close to the staff who verified the player and he did so without me ever breaking the name to him. Maybe 50/50 right now. Just hoping that the Coleman commitment doesn't change things as they are similar players with the unnamed player being a better shooter.
3. I was hoping that we were strongly involved with Murray/St Peter's, but word is he's looking for major minutes at the point. In a different world we would take him in a heartbeat.
We have 3 more 'ships open. One for a PG, one for a shooter and one for a PF.
