Lots of Names Linked to the Hall so I took a stab at it...if I had more time I would check in on the ratings of the (?) of players I couldn't find at first glance. I also would like to put the height and position next to the recruit name but ran out of time.

If we don't think we have a shot or are not recruiting a player anymore to the player we were linked to in the past, please post in this thread. Thanks!

I remember a few years ago people were saying that local ny/nj basketball talent was drying up. But it looks pretty good to me. Even getting local players outside the top 100 (like we did with Ish, desi and carrington) with a couple of higher ranked kids would allow Willard to have ncaa caliber teams year in and year out. We just need to learn from the past and be selective with what kind of personalities we take.

As I look at this list it does make you wonder why "stealth recruiting" was ever thought to be a viable strategy. I actually think that term and that whoever used it was just not recruiting well.

The staff has a lot of hooks in the water. So will be interesting to see who actually commits once all the dust settles. Very important recruiting classes for Willard.

Early on there was the thought that losing recruits when made public would hurt recruiting momentum. Didn't agree with that philosophy but obviously it wasn't my call.

BTW, much of the info you are getting isn't coming from SHU it's coming from sources who can speak to the players directly and or of course deal with their coaches or close associates.

A person say like Jon Rothstein, or many of the ESPN guys have vast resources and don't need to deal with a particular school to get inside info.

The more times you get up at bat the more chances you have to get a hit. In the world of college BB recruiting the more high quality players you're involved with the better your chance to land a couple. With a very limited number of scholarships this year and next , Willard and Co. have to get the higher rated talent so that there are players ready to step in when the 7 man class that are juniors next year ( counting IW 6 w/o him) graduate.

Love this list thank you. Just wish height and hometown listed. I have spent an hour looking up names
