Would love to get everyone's thoughts and predictions on the remaining 7 games and final Big East Record. Here are my thoughts
vs. Georgetown - Think we win this game and get to 6-6 in conference play. Tough matchup for SHU but I see them finding a way to win this one
@ Creighton - Creighton has not been good at home this year, losing to every quality opponent except Butler, but it is a tough place to play. I see SHU dropping a close one here
vs. Xavier - Win here. Xavier is not good and SHU will need this one to get back to 7-7
@ St. Johns - I am going to say we find a way to win this one. The team always plays great at MSG and it's a good matchup for SHU. 8-7 now
@ Georgetown - I say this is a win. The week off will help and GTown plays DePaul the Wednesday prior so they will have a short week of prep. Just convenient timing for this matchup
vs. Marquette - SHU should have won at Marquette and I say they will get the win here with an electric home crowd and get to 10-7.
vs. Nova - Loss here. SHU just never seems to beat Nova anymore although the atmosphere is going to be electric and unlike previous years, Nova doesn't have tons of experience dealing with crazy crowds.
So yes, I still think despite a lot of struggles the past few weeks, we still finish 10-8 in conference. A strange path to get there, but I still see it happening. Would put us at 19-11 overall and probably looking at a 7-9 seed in the NCAAs depending on performance in the BET.
