Republicans really want to start 2021 like this?

I am afraid all this election challenging is going to cost the Republicans the Senate in the end. Not really sure what their game plan is?

They deserve to lose the Senate. They have abandoned not only Republican roots of the party, they are now abandoning democracy itself. Romney is going to have a difficult time trying to reform the party to where it once was. Quite frankly, the Republican Party of Goldwater and Reagan is now gone. There are on,y a minority of those Senators and representatives left in Congress.

Yeah, I don’t really get what is going on there. Almost seems like they are trying to lose the senate on purpose.

On this topic, Republican Party is just broken honestly.
This isn’t just political bickering, this is challenging democracy itself and will cause lasting damage.

Republicans need to get back to a mid 90s base, jack kemp and bob dole not walking through the door though...usa is a failure with a 2 party system

Really thought they would start to go that direction with a Trump loss. I didn’t realize how many would still be afraid of him.

Also gone is the Democrat Party of Clinton, O'Neill, Kennedy, Carter, etc. Extremism cuts both ways and isn't good for the country.
Biden is an extremist? Hardly. Biden is the head of the party and is a moderate. You have moderate Republicans now joining the Democratic Party like Steve Schmidt. What we will see is that the Democratic tent become bigger with more moderates joining. Yes, there is the extreme left of the party. But moderates have nowhere else to go except the Democratic Party. And the moderate Democrats have controlled the party since Bill Clinton and have never relinquished control.

Spoken like a true partisan. SMH.

If this year’s election cycle isn’t the trigger for a strong, moderate, third party letting the socialists and extreme conservatives eat themselves alive, it’ll never happen.

The 2 party system is very good. More than 2 parties you risk a minority in control which leads to less harmony and sometimes things change way too quickly. It has not worked in Europe and frankly it’s what the problem is here now. Both sides constantly eating their own.

Payback is a bitch.Wonder if Joe gets impeached in 2023 if he is still president ?

Problem with each party is they want to see the other party fail. That in itself is a massive problem. There is no prevailing feeling of working for the American people anymore. Where have all the moderates gone because we need to hear their voices louder than the far right and far left?

I didn’t say harmony. If you can’t see the value in policy changes taking time to implement then you won’t agree with or understand my point. You’ll never get perfect harmony but you’ll never find a more perfect system than what we have. If you can cite examples to the contrary, go for it-I’m open minded.

Special interests, lobbyists and ability to fundraise and spend on a campaign will never get any third party a fair chance in american politics and government.

A former pro wrestler was gov of minnesota less than 25 years ago coming from a third party and i believe he beat out hubert humprey's relative.

Unless one is a Bloomberg where money is no obstacle and punting it away has no significant effect on one's livelyhood it will be red/blue but i dont agree that is best.
