We win or lose with Kooks. He's our best player and we ask him to do a lot, even increasing his minutes significantly the last few games. It looks like hes resting during the game which hurts the team. He's taking a lot of lazy shots near the rim just trying to get fouled that has resulted in just a 30% FG% (12-40) in his last 3 games.

In his first 11 Big East games he never played more than 35 minutes, averaged only 28.6 minutes and shot an efficient 46.0% from the field.

In the last 3 games Sha has left him on the floor for 36-39 minutes in every game. His output stats are very similar but he's taking and missing more shots. The majority of the misses are from the paint and lead to transition opportunities for opponents.

Defensively he's getting steals but he almost never pushes in transition. The lack of easy points has resulted in two straight games under 70 and only 23 points in the 2nd half tonight. We caused 19 TOs but didn't turn them into enough points. Hes also losing his man on the arc more often which led to a lot of 3s for Creighton including Scheirman closing us out.

We know what he's capable of. Give me a 100% Kadary for 30 minutes who is going to push the ball up when we get a TO, finish shots in the paint and bring energy. Femi and Harris can play the Point for a combined 6-8 minutes. Hopefully Sha realizes he's overplaying his best player and works with him on finishing inside.
