Just wondering what is your take on him ? Is he just the flavor of the month or someone to take seriously?

I've got to think flavor of the month. Ultra right wing and that plays well in Iowa and the right wing is looking for the anti-Romney. I could never vote for Santorum. Big government Republican. Not about freedom and liberty but more government control.

He is the "anyone but Romney" flavor of the month. Too bad Pawlenty didn't stay in. He would have had a real shot.

you can thank Dan Savage for that. He does the "Savage Love" love/sex advice column found in Village Voice-like papers throughout the country. All of Santorum's gaybashing through the years pissed him off, so he started a movement to make that happen. hilarious...best dude.

My attitude is this: anyone who makes gay marriage the centerpioece of his campaign (whether pro or con) does not deserve serious consideration since there are so many more important issues that need to be addressed in this country that such a candidate has lost sight of what is or isn't important.

Do not like Santorum. Disingenuous, big politician, does not have the right agenda, not electable. I was disappointed Pawlenty did not stay in the race. I really liked him. It will be Romney.

Agree, but isn't gay marriage the #1 priority in NJ, according to Sweeney and Oliver? Savage is a semi-literate hack.

I don't know who Savage is however I would never vote for Sweeney for a number of reasons. As to Gay Marriage, it is a non-issue for me. There are too many important things to be concerned with.
