In quantity a career of less than a decade but quality was immense. He didnt play into half the 70s and made the NFL All 70s team. Transitioned well to TV and film. Was on the last 3 seasons of NBC's Hang Time.

Butkus Stallone, better known by the mononym 'Butkus' was Sylvester Stallone's dog which was a bull mastiff. After getting him in 1969, when the mastiff was just six weeks old. Butkus went on to become an intrinsic part of the Stallone family.

Tough guys in a way different game. As I remember, Butkas and Gayle Sayers were in the same draft class for the Bears. Hard to think of two greater guys in the same draft for one team.
