There's a new Rivals Ranking for the 2022 class in hoops and with it comes a new No. 1.

Surprised to see Emoni Bates now at #2. He was the Gatorade Player of the Year as a sophomore, and The Athletic has been ranking the top high school player for any class and Bates has been the #1 for a couple years now (ahead of older players like Cunningham, Holmgren, etc.).

FWIW, 247 still has Bates as the #1 player in 2022, and his ranking is 101 out of 100. I didn't think that was possible, but I guess he's a special player.

Jaquan Harris dropped 4 spots to overall 140, 40 in 2022 PG class. He was ranked 125 last summer.
