Robot Tax

Comrade de Blasio is now proposing a tax on robots. I assume he's including both physical and software robots.

This is a fantastic idea. We should take all the robot tax money and use it for reparations for all the buggy whip manufacturers who went out of business when the automobile was invented.

It's likely inevitable in some form.
As machines get better and smarter they will only become a bigger disruption to our economy. It is definitely something our politicians should be discussing and planing for.
