Rothstein at SHU

Sight unseen I like that lineup. If I was going to make a change, and I would have to watch the team first I might go with Ish due to his experience.

But truthfully, no complaints.

Though we didn't see it last year, I think Ish is a kid who can guard post players bigger than him. Desi, Mike and Angel are three kids fast off their feet and guys like that have hurt us often. Hope Mike/Ish and/or someone else can give Angel some comfort down low so he can defend with more consistency that he did last year in the BE. Would be great if the Desi we see is the Desi Dan saw last year in the early practices when he said he was ripping it up. Mike and Desi on the break is gonna be great excitement.

Early prediction on Seton Hall's starting five: Isaiah Whitehead, Khadeen Carrington, Desi Rodriguez, Mike Nzei, Angel Delgado. #shbb

Pretty easy to zone this lineup out of any offensive flow. Who is going to hit the three when IW looks to kick it out when he drives the lane? Carrington at 28%, Desi at 8%? Absolutely no offensive balance on this starting 5. You only IW that can hit the 3 on the floor and he is the PG.

That is about as negative I have seen Rothstein write about a program. I feel the same way. Don't see how this team
is any better than last season. Way too many question marks besides Delgado.

That's something all imperfect teams face. Various weakness.

In our case lack of guard depth, shooting from the arc and quality size behind Delgado.

Hopefully Carrington and Veer will help with the long range shooting and Ish, Anderson, Carter and Nzei with the quality big man depth.

We will again have issues in the half court set so expect this team to play fast open court BB.

Also that starting five is pretty good on D.

Not a ringing endorsement from Mr Positive, that's for sure.

Color me more optimistic.

Seton Hall is deeper, longer, and bigger than they've been under Kevin Willard. Overall team skill level though is still in question. #shbb
Overall team skill is the most important component for a teams success, especially with KW at the helm. Yikes! Apparently, overall team numbers, height and size are obvious. (I think a blind man could make that observation) what he didn't see is scary.

If IW and Carrington step up to run the team effectively (and make up Gibbs numbers) than we can be a better team with better D. Both of them have everything in their toolbox to do this. Our forwards would have to make up for Mobley's production

For years Georgetown and Pittsburgh had teams that couldn't shoot straight but had pretty good years. Of course everything else they did, they did very well! Just saying.
