Delaware is a solid team as Delgado was third team All-American last year and a candidate for the Hermann Trophy this year. They have a number of very capable French and Spanish players on their roster. Their loss to Villanova could have gone either way.

Not to mention they are coached by former Seton Hall All-American and alum Ian Hennessy.

Not to mention that Ian was on the very short list to replace Manny but the SH offer was not as good as he's getting from Del.

That was a mistake, as was letting Blankmeyer get away. At least Robbie Sheppard has done well.

Georgetown womens' soccer, a perennial power (stocked with NJ kids) coached by former SHU goalkeeper Dave Nolan.

All the more reasons that the school was handcuffed into avoiding the buyout for the men's basketball coach. And there's no one to blame but...

4-0 loss at Bucknell.

Nothing encouraging in the season thus far. A lot of college soccer teams are historically young, so youth shouldn't be that severe of an issue in terms of a winless start. Not good at all.

Seton Hall is generally going to be terrible at everything. I have come to accept this. But soccer is the one sport there really is no reason for Seton Hall to be terrible at. Similar schools compete consistently at the highest level. We are not faced with any sort of competitive disadvantages. In fact our location should give us advantages. And yet this year our men's and women's teams have combined for 0 wins, 9 losses and 3 ties while being outscored 31-9. I mean, come on.

No dispute that's it's a disappointing start to the season. This is Gerson's 4th season and the players are all his recruits and I had hoped we would have seen the beginning of an upward trend by now.

Don't get me started on this... There has been absolutely no player development whatsoever. The team is getting worse every year. The team
Reflects the coach and his tactics. I am embarrassed more so of the soccer program than the men's basketball
Program. Embarrassing that's all I can think of

Absolutely no excuse for this....
