Rutgers is an RPI killer, always was, always will be. The Big East forcing us to play them twice each season did us no favors and I was thrilled when the Big Ten didn't learn from the Big East's mistake and they were no longer in the conference, they never added anything. If we want to play former conference mates we should be reaching out to schools like Syracuse, UConn or even Boston College. Instead, we go with the two schools that never should have been admitted into the Big East to begin with, South Florida and Rutgers! Ugh!

Cuse and Uconn think of us the way you think of Rutgers. Now if we can get a season of winning under our belt we might be in a better position.

I usually focus more on the games with other bubble teams than the rpi impact above. Root for the ranked teams to beat the other bubble teams in our league and others. Our chances increase when other teams with similar profile keep losing. Plus I cannot root for Rutgers.
