I read on the RU board that single game tickets for the Seton Hall game at Prudential Center go on sale next week.

Did I miss something???

As a SHU season ticket holder, I typically buy up to 10 single game tickets to the big games and take family, friends and people who support Seton Hall so that we can have as many fans as possible supporting the team.

How come I don't get any notice from the ticket office that I can buy these tickets before they go on sale to the general public?

Honestly, I give my email address every year to the ticket office and I never get any email letting me know about events, white outs, Pack the Rock or when I can buy single game tickets??? I never get an email period.

It's frustrating that Seton Hall never seems to capitalize on a fan base so dedicated to its core/growth.

If it were me, I would be email blasting every week leading up to and including every week of the of the season, every ticket holder, fan and alumni - everything and anything that would be considered PROMOTION.

And it seems I talk about this frustration every year.

Honestly they should do what ru did and make that the only non conf game that the public wasn’t allowed to buy tickets to. Make if only available to season ticket holds and mini game plans.

I got email from SHU yesterday, that presale for season ticket holders for individual games are now on sale. Says to call ticket office at 973-275-4255.

Yes, tickets go on sale to general public next Monday, October 18th.

Agree, it works very well for RU. It is also a good way to reward your season ticket holders.

I got notice....so you can definitely buy them now before they go to the general public

It used to be online now call?

Exactly. Not sure why we are going backwards with technology here. I'd like going online, picking the seats, etc. Calling on the phone tends to be a back and forth issue for me and I honestly I'm going to pass. My friends can get their own tickets this time.

Dear Men's Basketball Season Ticket Holders,

The 2021-22 Seton Hall men's basketball is only one month away, and we hope you're excited about a return to Prudential Center to cheer on the Pirates!

We have an exciting presale opportunity for you this week. Now is your opportunity to purchase single-game add-ons to your season ticket package in advance of going on sale to the general public! So for the some of the biggest games of the season, such as Dec. 12 vs. Rutgers and Jan. 1 vs. Villanova, now is your chance before everyone else to bring some additional Pirates fans with you to The Rock! And the season ticket holder discount on these single-game add-ons is 25 percent off the regular single-game price.

To take advantage of this season ticket holder add-on presale, please call the ticket office this week at (973) 275-4255. Single-game tickets will go on to the general public on Monday, Oct. 18.

I will reach out to Jim in the ticket office to contact you.

Hopefully the ticket office will do the right thing and people will log on next week to find that single game inventory for that game is already "sold out." There's no reason to sell single game tickets to that, doing so is just leaving a ton of money on the table. The nature of it being the local rivalry and only hosted every other year makes it the prime candidate to leverage into 6 game plans at minimum. If they really must sell them individually to the public, at least gouge the crap out of the prices.
