Only thing missing are a few community colleges and women’s teams.
It got screwed with DePaul which will be awful by its pathetic standards. Can’t blame Rutgers for that.
So true. They were mandated with the Gavitt game and ACC challenge. I was surprised to see even UMass on their OCC.
Because teams in the conference use pro facilities the Big East is usually one of the last conferences to release their schedules.
UMass should be a conference game for Rutgers. They should be playing them every year just like they used to!
Halldan can correct me if I have my info wrong. RU was supposed to play Marquette in the Gavitt Games but they couldn't work out the date.
Apparently RU scheduled the NJIT game on 11/16 knowing they were slated for the Gavitt Games which would be played on the 15th through the 18th. That effectively removed them from the first three days of the GG. Conveniently, Marquette is playing in the Charleston Classic which starts on 11/18.
If that is all true, yes I can blame RU if they got screwed by playing DePaul.
