Rutgers to Seton Hall to the NBA

Got to know Elvis well during his time at SHU and when he left for the NBA we talked often for long periods of time on the phone for maybe 2 years and then we simply lost touch.
Funny thing is I never knew he graduated Rutgers. The subject never came up once. But what Jerry writes in his story is so true. Elvis doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Even when discussing Gonzo he chooses his words carefully, never really saying anything bad about the former SHU coach.
In short, Elvis deserves every ounce of good luck that befalls him.
