Agree with this… a healthy Yetna, Davis, Richmond and Harris for the whole season. I take last year‘s team.Just thinking about what I figured Yetna and Harris would give us last year and how it could be an NCAA Tournament team in Sha's first year. Whoops. LOL. And then Richmond missed 6 games, Davis missed 10 games. Brutal.
If we're taking injuries out of it and just basing on paper, I'm going last year.
It's still going to be a tall task for this year's team to finish better than last year's did at 10-10 BE, but we're off to a great start! And if Sha has really gotten to them it'll be fun to watch. Maybe the sum will be greater than the parts.
You can't take injuries our ot the equation. Yetna never stepped a foot on the floor. We played out of position all season. We have a true back to the basket Center this year, not Samuel being forced into that position. We have much more size available with Hutchinson ,NgaNga and Tubek. Coleman more than makes up for the loss of Davis. I think this team is in much better position. The probelem between the 2 is the same...shooting. You aren't going to be that competetive hitting 3 3pointers in a game. I think Uconn wanted to beat us without using gimmicks to pack the paint. It cost them. No team at this point needs to even guard us out to the 3pi line until we prove we can hit that shot with at least some consistancy..Just thinking about what I figured Yetna and Harris would give us last year and how it could be an NCAA Tournament team in Sha's first year. Yes, Ty at the 4 with Bediako at 5.I would love to still have Ty but prefer Jaden at center. I say this year!
