He's not well. That's why he's so bad. How people on both sides of the aisle don't feel sorry for him, I don't know. He didn't say anything maliciously. I think everyone should just let it go. However with the creation of the super strict PC culture that hates old white men, everyone who can run with it will do just that. It's so sad. Anything said maliciously about race is unacceptable we all know that. But Biden wasn't malicious here. I'm going to start a go fund me page to raise awareness of feelings hurt from non malicious Polish jokes. How the extreme on both sides have become the voice of the country is insane. The silent majority need to push back on both sides. Otherwise eventually they're going to have to change the name of the steroptypically named movie "White Men Can't Jump"

It is and of the severely flawed primary system to identify a candidate that can win a general election.
Absolutely. When is the last time we had any good candidates running from either party?
In theory the primary system was a step up from the old smoke filled back rooms but in reality it has hurt our political system greatly. Seems the only people who vote in the primaries are the extremes of both party's. America has always fared better when ruled from close to the center. When compromise was not considered a dirty word. It's sad but our choices this time around just like last time is no viable choice at all.

I am no fan of Biden & will most likely be voting Green again after Bernie lost bc I have the luxury as an NJ resident (I do not envy the choices progressives in swing states will have to make in a few months). I’m hoping the Green Party can reach 5% in a few places this time to hopefully qualify for those matching federal funds. Biden will crush Trump here by 15-20% most likely.
Biden is basically an old style centrist Republican who has indicated numerous times his willingness to compromise with Republicans if he wins. He even said he would consider a Repub for VP! I mean, there’s no way he’s gonna actually do that, but to even float that notion...wow.
Ignoring the insanity of such a statement considering the current conspiracy theory, death cult mentality that has taken over that disgusting party over the past 25 years...Tom how can you say Biden doesn’t meet the standard you wrote above? There is nothing “extreme” about him or the establishment types that flooded in after he won SC. The entire Dem apparatus circled the wagons on Bloody Monday to kill off the actual change candidate in Bernie right before Super Tuesday. The progressive/young vote did not come strong & sustained enough to overtake the same corporate friendly, identity driven liberals that always turn out.
So now you have the ultimate compromise candidate in Joe. You should be thrilled, other than the fact that there’s a 50/50 chance he’s gonna lose to that monster leading the MAGA hog cult.

Of course for me voting for Trump is not an option & I will vote for Biden but he is far from an ideal candidate. I would have hoped for a better alternative.

Incomparably so and it’s not even close. Just yesterday, the President accused Joe Scarborough of murder, openly cheered the job losses of Americans (Atlantic), and wondered aloud if he should take insulin during one of his typical incoherent ramblings. That was yesterday. This $#*! happens daily. Daily. Every day. Multiple times a day.
Joe Biden must love the taste of his feet, because he constantly jams them into his mouth. He can make comments like this daily and it will amount to an ant hill versus Trump’s mountain constant lies and stupidity.
The right leaners/left haters on this board have been intimating the both sides (parties and candidates) are equally bad narrative for a while now. Newsflash: They aren’t. It’s not a compliment to Biden or the Dems. It’s not something you put on a banner and hang from the rafters or take any pride in. To be clear, you suck Biden and Dems. And you are far, far worse Trump and GOP.
Biden is a 7-Eleven hot dog. He’s been rolling under that heat lamp for a long time, taking on the appearance of an old catcher’s mitt. It’s pretty unappealing and it’s probably going to give you diarrhea, but it’s not going to kill you.
On the other hand, Trump is a toxic waste/raw sewage mix in a rusty tallboy can. The label says 100% Best Ever Trust Me I Know, but the ingredients are listed right there on the can for all to see and it’s certainly much, much worse than the hot dog.
The Vice special basic premise is that msnbc and to lesser extent cnn downplayed, ignored anything positive that happened for bernie early in primary season and came out aggresively against his campaign around the nevada primary and twisted his health coverage plan vs the unionized workforce in vegas over them.being scared they would lose what they negotiated for health coverage

Debating what point exactly? We have two parties that have abdicated their responsibilities and as a result we get the horrific candidates that we have seen....Trump, Clinton and now Biden.

The point is pretty clear, Trump and Biden are not comparably awful. Trump is far worse. It’s not close. Furthermore, I’ve extended that to the current state of the Rep/Dem parties. It’s pretty easy to gather that. If you have any specific commentary on that subject, great. If not, I’m not interested in any of the transparent BS you’re offering. Thanks!
OK, so the both suck, but Trump is worse. So having a scale to measure suckie-ness means more to you. I respect that. Maybe it means less to me and I choose not to waste much jet fuel on insulting one bad candidate more than another because to me, it's not worth the time.
