Exactly. 8-9 is never good with the top seeds lurking in round two. Sign me up for a 10 or 11. Long as it's not a play-in game.

I can see us as a 10 seed matched up with 7 seed Dukie. Of course, they'd probably screw us by putting that game in NC. Even so, I would love the chance to smack them or say, Indiana in the tourney.

If we make the tourney I would hope that we play a team that we have a legitimate chance to beat and move on to the next round. Winning a game in the Tourney is a plus in many ways for a team that's trying to become a consistently successful program.

Bracketing talk now is fun but to be honest it means absolutely nothing at this time.

There's still 8 games to play in the regular season and then the Big East tournament.

Great to speculate as that's what we do here. But meaningless beyond that.

I also agree I would take an 11 seed. Last year you saw teams like UCLA and Indiana that were talked about as bubble teams, but the committee put them squarely in at 11 and they proved the committee right going on a run. Also teams like GW and SJ have been predicted to be a 10 seed in and out we are better than them. If we keep winning maybe you get to a 7 seed and also avoid the 8-9 line.

With their kenpom and rpi ranking I think if Seton hall gets through next 3 games with at least 2 wins then they could have real expectations for 7-9 seeding. Can't see them dropping more than 2 in the remaining 5 after that and realistically can end up third in BE. Hey, anything can happen in this league.

Screw 11 seed. I want a 6 seed. . 10 or 11 is way better than 8 or 9 for obvious reasons. Seriously, I just want them in, avoiding play in would be nice.
