Exactly right they should treat him no differently than lieutenant colonel Alex Vindman. The MSM tagged him a hero for speaking out of the chain of command against Trump. These are the types of issues causing division in our country. If we punished Vindman this probably does not happen. Pick and choose sides when it makes sense for your party.
We have two lieutenant colonels. One from the Army, one from the Marine Corps. Both called out their chain of command over a decision they objected to. Vindman was let go from his job, and later chose to leave the Army. He got glowing coverage from the media, chances to write op-eds, and a book deal. While on the other hand, Scheller was let go of immediately and will lose his career and any pension, not to mention is currently doing jail time. Sounds fair.
