SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. -- The Seton Hall women's basketball team (7-1) returns home for the first time in 20 days on Wednesday night to host the Fordham Rams (3-4) at Walsh Gymnasium. The Pirates are 3-0 on their home floor this season and have won 22-straight non-conference home games under third-year head coach Anthony Bozzella. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. on the Pirate Sports Network and WSOU, 89.5 FM.
The Pirates are coming off their first loss of the season after starting 7-0 for the first time since 1989-90. Tabatha Richardson-Smith (Bay City, Texas) led The Hall with 13 points and seven rebounds in a setback at Georgia in The Hall's most recent contest on Dec. 6. The match-up with Fordham is a re-match of a contest in the Bronx last season, one that saw the Pirates come away with a 56-43 victory.

- The Pirates are currently the third team receiving votes in the AP-Top 25 and the top team under consideration in the USA Today Coaches Poll

Pirates Win at Fordham 56-43
Ka-Deidre Simmons led three Pirates in double figures with 15 points and the Seton Hall University women's basketball team ran its current win streak to six with a 56-43 victory at Fordham on Friday night in Rose Hill Gym.
