Seton Hall Recruiting Roundup: Pirates looking to add to current roster, hosting other recruits

Pretty short and basic "roundup" either Zags not plugged in for true informatoin or the cubbard is pretty bare! Lets hope Mike is a miracle worker, Sha looks to upgrade recruiting staff and the Practice facility gets moving!

Oh and the issue with the new president in the future is lingering! Trickle down impact when that hire is made. Happens all the time so look to see changes once a new Pres is brought in. Nyre and Lyons were very close, does this impact Lyons future here?, does a new president have some strong opinions on our AD? If Lyons is not here then BF will need to be looking over his shoulder - Oh this will be interesting to see how this all plays out

Lol you expect way too much here, they will have bigger fish to fry when they get hired from Iona . Lol

Speaking of Nyre. What was the story behind his departure. So much for transparency. Not a good look.

Was anyone prosecuted for the theft from the Law School?
Usually prosecution does not happen as organizations don't want all the details released. A good friend of mine that works for a prominent law firm had some serious theft that spanned various years and the employee took a significant amount of $ over time. They did not prosecute because they didn't want the details out and didn't want to lose face with their clients. A law was broken in a big way but they decided not to prosecute. Unfortunately its pretty common in these instances. Employee is fired and asked to give some $ back or threatened with prosecution but they rarely get prosecuted.

I think people that steal should be prosecuted. Any insurance recovery would, I think, be predicated on that. On top of that, the former President is being given a year’s severance (sabbatical). In addition, search fees might be paid for his replacement. No more of my paltry contributions for SHU.
