Seton Hall should ask Prudential Center to open at 11am instead.
They may have to pay more, but it would be worth it for the fans who want to arrive early.

I would love to see "sold out" plastered across the outside of The Rock.

What is the official number that constitutes a sell-out at the Rock for a Seton Hall game.

Great news!!!!!!!

@Halldan1 do you know if the school would offer any 'unsold' students section tix to general public on gameday? Considering it's spring break I'm not expecting a student appearance like the Villanova/Georgetown games.

I don't believe so.

I spoke to Pat Lyons about 10 days ago and told him we would most likely have a sell out for this game and if he was thinking of partially opening the upper tier. He said that's always a possibility but the advance sale would dictate that.

Unfortunately our fans waited too long to sell out the building.

I'm in favor of opening the upper tier but only if it's because the lower bowl is truly sold out (students and general public). Not a fan of lifting the curtain if 50%+ seats in the student section are empty.

No need to open up the curtain for Sunday.

But, make the unclaimed/unsold student tix available to the general public by tomorrow.

We don't want to see about 10 rows empty in sections 2 & 3.

I remember our February 28th game back in 2004. Our Andre Barrett-lead team pretty much destroyed Georgetown on Senior Day, which was also my birthday. It was a great present, and since I was a team manager at the time I got to watch from the bench. One of my favorite memories as a fan, a student, and as someone involved with the program.

I'm very excited for Sunday. I've been excited about this team all year. I've had a lot of faith in these kids, and I'm glad they are starting to put it together. I think people really underestimate how hard it is to be this successful when there is ONE senior on the team. Relying on a bunch of sophmores, no matter how talented, is really hard and the fact we are already at 20 wins makes me so happy.

Cheers to the team, and please bring me home a win. Locking up an NCAA bid would be a fantastic birthday present.

Hopefully they figure out something to get people into the student section. The tickets are sold, but students will not be at this game.

How do student tickets work now? The students have to go and claim tickets by certain time correct, cannot just show up at game? So when is the cutoff, I would assume sometime today? So would give school plenty of time to distribute at least some of what is not already claimed. Hope school is on it, seats should be used/sold by people who want to be at game.

Just hope the players soak it in during pregame, but once they tip it off, there's a game to played. Can't get too emotional and try to do too much.

Nearby bars such as Edison Ale House have been open since 11, Go Hall!

I also bought a Star Ledger at Krauszers on Market St earlier to hold up when Xavier starting lineups announced.

Arrive early to your seats and be as loud as you can.
