Acevedo opened the tournament with a 7-under-par, 64, on Friday, using eight birdies to power a strong round. On Saturday, he did even better, with no blemishes, he shot an 8-under-par, 63, including an eagle on the par-5, 13th hole. Acevedo shot a 4-under-par, 67, in the final round, which was more than enough for the victory.

Acevedo and the rest of the Seton Hall men's golf team will open the 2021 fall season at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial, Sept. 4-5, at Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y.
