In Bethlehem tomorrow taping a show. Will be interesting to see his thoughts on Middle East. Also making major investments in Pennsylvania centric chips program.

Impressed with Shapiro today as he speaks about governing from the middle and his actions thus far have been bi-partisan. Some of his actions are far from progressive.

A strong business advocate and he uses the phrase "Government moving at the speed of business". Reduce red tape... Shortened permitting process from 8 weeks to 2 1/2 days and refunds business the permit application if they don't turn it around in the prescribed time. Another term he uses is GSD "Get S_ _T Done".

Supports school choice, including charter schools, but does not like cyber-charter schools and vows to fix funding mechanisms.

Pro law enforcement - Adding 400 State Troopers to the budget.

Not an EV wingnut...and supports looking at alternative energy but at an appropriate speed. PA approved for two hydrogen hubs and does not believe in putting vehicle fossil fuel end dates like dopey Newsome. Also approved for a grant in Philly from CHPS act.

Every time I have seen him speak, there is nothing about social justice causes or pandering to groups. It's all about business, education choice, elderly care,, etc. I didn't realize it, but PA is the only state without a majority house/senate of one party. PA also only state with 100% of lottery proceeds going to elderly care and he will keep it that way.

Also like that he isn't a gratuitous kiss ass...he never said a word about Fetterman, Casey, Biden, etc. His history is pro-business and he's just doing this on a larger scale now. PA has some issues (aging population), but he is a 180 from his predecessor (Tom Wolf) who was an empty suit.

Full show next Monday...if anyone interested, I will forward the link.

I met him a few years ago when he was still a Montgomery County Commissioner and then a few years later when he was running for AG.

You could tell by his presence that he was going somewhere.

He also headed up the PCCD at one point.

I would not be surprised if he made it to the White House one day.

He was savvy to bipartisanship back than and even more so now.

Although the line of questioning didn’t go there, he did not speak to the Middle East or Ukraine. If he has a good first term he moves to the front of the line for Democratic Presidential candidates. We have elected a half-black President and came close to electing the first female President…and why not the first Jewish President? But given the anti-Semitic behavior especially in our youth, I just wonder.

Summary of his meeting, ranking accomplishments and speaking out yesterday regarding anti-Semitism. The second link is interesting as he set out an agenda, but still early on (first year) and much has not been accomplished. I do like him, but he needs to continue to generate results.
