Our coaches think she can play in the WNBA. Didi Simmons was cut on the last day by the Conn Sun and Tab is taller and more versatile than she was. A scorer for sure.
Wouldn't that be great for TRS, the program, and the University.

Why do you tease these women's hoops threads like this?

I am not against your women's team. Go get 'em!! But a thread title like this is intentionally deceptive. Why do it?

NEW YORK - For the third time in four weeks and second in a row, Seton Hall senior guard Tabatha Richardson-Smith (Bay City, Texas) has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday (Jan. 25). The nod comes after Richardson-Smith averaged 26.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game over The Hall's 2-0 weekend. It is the eighth career Player of the Week nod for Richardson-Smith and the sixth time this season she has received a weekly nod from the league (three Player of the Week, three Weekly Honor Roll).

In an 82-66 win over Xavier on Jan. 22, Richardson-Smith stuffed the stat sheet with 27 points, seven rebounds and a career-high five assists. She shot 11-for-19 from the floor against the Musketeers and added two steals. The guard followed that up with a 26-point, 11-rebound double-double in a 98-77 win over Butler on Jan. 24, again dishing out five assists. Against the Bulldogs Richardson-Smith knocked down 10 free throws, tying a career-high, and was 12-for-13 from the stripe (92.3 percent) over the weekend.

Richardson-Smith continued her ascent up The Hall's all-time scoring list, moving into third place all-time with 1,711 career points. She currently sits six points behind former teammate Ka-Deidre Simmons for second in SHU history and is 93 points away from Geraldine Sainitlus' all-time record of 1,804. In BIG EAST play Richardson-Smith has scored 20 or more in seven of nine outings and has eclipsed 25 in four of her last five contests. With her recent surge, the senior now leads the BIG EAST in scoring at 19.5 points per game and league scoring at 24.0 per contest, while ranking fifth in the league in rebounding at 7.2 a night and 7.9 in conference.

The Pirates improved to 16-4 on the year with the help of Richardson-Smith on the weekend and now sit at 6-3 in BIG EAST play, good for third in the conference. The Hall next travels to Chicago to take on first-place DePaul on Friday. Jan. 29 at 1 p.m. (ET). The contest can be seen on the BIG EAST Digital Network and FOX Sports GO app.

Don't agree with you. Fans of the Pirates in the know knew exactly what Dan was referring to and were very happy he shared the good news. We have been season ticket holders of MBB for 40+ years and are happy when any of our student-athletes have the pro-teams looking at them.

LOL.

The thread title said a Seton hall basketball player was a potential draft pick.

And that's exactly what the article and thread are about...

But the thread was about a women's basketball player being a high draft pick. This may not be a men's basketball board, but 90% of the posts and discussion are about the men's team. Either start a women's board, or note that it is a women's hoops thread in the title. Otherwise it is just being deceptively intentionally trying to increase the click total. Seems disingenuous.

And I'm not against the women's team. Good to see they are doing well. But the intentional deception is a bad move.

The article was about a basketball player at SHU being a potential draft pick. And last I checked, that's what the thread title specified.

Stop being a troll. And go back to HLOH and post non stop there.

Okay. If you really don't see a difference between what the title says and the substance of the post in relation to what the discussion of this board tends to be, then go ahead and think this wasn't a disingenuous thread title.

Go back to HLOH and report about "the feelings of posters" on this board.
