SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The Seton Hall women' basketball team released its official 2022-23 non-conference schedule on Wednesday. The slate features 10 opponents featuring six that appeared in either the NCAA Tournament or WNIT last year and four games at Walsh Gymnasium.

Season tickets are on sale now! They're only $70 and can be purchased by calling the Seton Hall Ticket Office at 973-275-HALL (4255).

Seton Hall will open the 2022-23 campaign against Saint Peter's on Thursday, Nov. 3 at Walsh Gymnasium. The Pirates have a commanding 17-3 all-time record against the Peacocks and have won eight in a row in the series. Their last meeting was a 107-60 Seton Hall victory in Walsh Gym on Dec. 18, 2020. Saint Peter's is coming off a 13-18 season and a quarterfinal exit in the MAAC Championship.

On Friday, Nov. 11, Seton Hall will renew its long rivalry with fellow New Jersey foe, Rutgers, in Piscataway. The Scarlet Knights have won 16 of the last 18 meetings, but the teams haven't played since the 2017-18 season. The last meeting was a 70-45 victory for Rutgers on Dec. 10, 2017. Seton Hall's last win was a 77-49 victory in Walsh Gym on Nov. 16, 2015. Rutgers is coming off an 11-20 season and second round exit in the Big Ten Tournament.

Three days later, the Pirates will return to Walsh Gym to host another local rival, Princeton, on Monday, Nov. 14. Seton Hall is 13-7 all-time against the Tigers and has won five of the last eight meetings in the series. Last year, the Pirates snapped Princeton's 21-game home win streak in a 70-60 road victory. Despite the loss to The Hall, Princeton went on to finish with a 25-5 record and defeated Kentucky in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

Later that week, The Hall will face another Ivy League opponent in Walsh Gym, Columbia, on Thursday, Nov. 17. This will only be the fourth time facing the Lions despite their local proximity. Seton Hall ended a magical season for Columbia last year, defeating the Lions, 78-75, in an instant classic that featured 19 lead changes on the road in the WNIT quarterfinals.

The Hall will next travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands for three games at the 2022 Paradise Jam, Nov. 24-26. The Pirates will open the event with another WNIT foe from last season, VCU, on Thanksgiving Day. The Hall edged the Rams, 70-67, in Walsh Gym in the second round of the WNIT, ending their season. Overall, the Pirates are 3-1 all-time against VCU.

The Pirates will play Wisconsin on Friday, November 25 in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Badgers are coming off an 8-21 overall record in 2021. This will be the first-ever meeting between Seton Hall and Wisconsin.

Finally, The Hall will face Georgia in the Paradise Jam finale on Saturday, Nov. 26. The teams have split only two prior meetings all-time. Seton Hall defeated the Bulldogs, 70-51, in Walsh Gym on Dec. 28, 2014, but Georgia returned the favor in Athens to the tune of an 18-point loss for the Pirates. The Bulldogs are coming off a 21-10 season, which included a victory over Dayton in the opening round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

On Friday, Dec. 9, Seton Hall will return to Walsh Gym to host another local non-conference rival, Rider. The Pirates have never lost to the Broncs in 11 all-time meetings. Most recently, The Hall scored an 85-49 victory in Walsh Gym on Nov. 25, 2017. Rider is coming off a 9-21 season in 2021-22, which included an opening round loss to Iona in the MAAC Tournament.

The Pirates will finish up a home-and-home series with UCF on Sunday, Dec. 11 when they travel to Orlando. These programs met for the first time last season with the Knights registering a 68-56 victory in Walsh Gym. UCF had one of its best seasons ever last year, recording a final record of 26-4 and winning the AAC Championship. The Knights defeated Florida in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament and lost by only five to UConn in the second round.

Finally, the Pirates will round out the 2022-23 non-conference schedule against Fordham in the Bronx on Saturday, Dec. 17. Although the Pirates have won seven of the last nine games against Fordham, the Rams surprised them last year, 82-63, in Walsh Gym. Overall, Fordham went 18-11 last year, but fell at home against Bucknell in the opening round of the WNIT.
