SHU Softball: Big East Championship Today at 5PM- TV

Coach Paige Smith's girls play the St John's team at 5 PM today on FOX 2 . Channel 84 on FIOS.

SJU beat Nova this afternoon and have to turn around in 3 hours to play our Pirates.

The winner goes to the NCAA Regionals.

Seton Hall's women's teams continue to shine . Makes me proud as hell.

Ladies up 5-4 bases loaded in top of 4th and fly out to end inning. Don't understand the "pitch count" stat FS keeps showing. I've seen top flight pitches go 20+ innings in back to back games on the same day. Natural motion unlike baseball. Saw a KU AA pitch a perfect game and then throw 200 more pitches for "practice" that day! Softball pitchers are amazing.

It's really tough to knock a team that totally turned it around this season and was just a few innings
from a BigEast Title. Great job by the Gals from South Orange. Hopefully, this is another Seton Hall
program that's taking advantage of the new conference.

Pirtaed, you are way off base here. How many college conference championship games have you have been in?

Our girls fought like hell. And with some of the best freshman in the league including the rookie of the year, they will be back.

Agree. Great job. Just disappointed (from coaching standpoint) how thy lost. That said, not blaming coach. Hopefully, they'll improve ext year.

Only at Seton Hall is a .500 record in conference and an under .500 record overall considered "a damn good finish." A lucky win over a team that swept them 3-0 earlier and wow, look at us, LOL!!!

A negative Sunday for me, more like "Seton Hall laughable fans" kind of day to me.

Actually SH was 0-13 vs DePaul before that win. Got that camel off their back. Hopefully they'll learn from this (had a very good chance to beat SJU) and get better in he future.
