SHU stats to date

Only one starter shooting over 30% from three? Ooof.

Assist to turnover ratio is also poor. That’s what missing three-pointers will do.

Most of the offensive stats are very good. The problem is they are good because of the 5 wins against mediocre competition.

Indeed. Seton Hall is 292nd in SOS.

It all comes back to the backcourt with Richmond and Dawes. They dominate PT and the ball. College basketball has been defined for decades by having Senior guards who can carry you. That's not happening with this years team yet. We've been the antithesis of that so far. It's been so inconsistent with them. Magnified against USC/Iowa - not a coincidence both games followed the same script - but they were also hit or miss in the lesser games at times.

Personally, I think everyone else has been pretty consistent and in most cases better than preseason expectations, even when the competition raised in San Diego. That's been good to see. Specifically Davis, Bediako, Coleman, Addae-Wusu.

Wasu averaging 8 ppg in 29 mpg.We need more offense and court time for Coleman and Sanders.

Then u take a step back on defense w coleman and 2 with jaquan, who btw hasnt shown to create his own shot and terribly slow laterally on D right now

I'll make that trade. You can't win by trying shutout the other team.Plus our defense is not that great to begin with.

The free throw shooting has been outstanding. Bediako's rebounding a big help, especially on the offensive boards.

But that three point shooting....against the absolute softest part of the schedule...is horrendous. I wish Sha would trade Sanders' defensive shortcomings for the three point accuracy he gives us. He needs more minutes.

Well we're going to see some good 3PT shooting Tuesday night, LOL. Baylor is the #1 offensive team in the country and leading 3PT shooting team.

Like Colman and Sanders, though Sanders time will be limited unless he starts playing Sha defense. I think Wusu can give us more. Second on the team in assists and best assist/ turnover rate and only getting 7 shots a game
