SHU WBB T in NCAA Total BS

I finally got a chance to watch the DVR of the WBB NCAA game.

The technical foul called against Tiffany Jones had to be the biggest load of BS I've seen in a long time. The ref just ASS-U-MEed she saw something. She didn't even bother to check the monitor. She didn't bother to explain to Bozzella until he said to her after the free throws, "I want to know what happened."

The announcers commented about the "quick whistle" and the fact that all Jones did was to clap. These refs are really unaccountable.

I know it's old news, but I just had to comment.

Whew! I feel better.

Doubt it would have changed the final outcome but that basket before the T gave us our only lead in the game (up 2) and after RU hit 1 of 2 T's they then came down and hit a shot from the arc. That led to a run that gave them a double diget lead midddle of the second half and from there we were always playing from behind.

A big momentum killer but good teams have to overcome questionable calls.

We'll never know how it impacted the game. It's just highly grating because the girl did nothing to warrant that T. She played a tremendous game.

I think we will see a highly productive senior season from Jones. She's excellent on both offense and defense. She just needs to improve her horrendous 47 percent free shooting.

I also hope she will spend all her time getting ready to be a force in and around the paint. They need her rebounding, blocking shots, getting put-backs, scoring with 5-10 footers and getting the pass close to the basket because she can finish.
